My 8 year old is making his first guitar and we were thinking a Tenor guitar might be the way to go for his first. 4 strings instead of 6. We are thinking of using my size 5 as the basis of this but are wondering if anyone knows of a source for plans and or dimensions for the Size 5 tenor. Specifically neck dimensions, brace pattern and scale length. My plan would be to go with a scale length of just over 23" which with 14 frets would place the bridge in a standard location. |
